October 13, 2020:  David presented at the BIAA-Maine’s 11th Annual “Defining Moments in Brain Injury” Virtual Conference. Davied presented on the complexities of living with Substance Use Disorder and brain in a presentation titled: Navigating the Overlapping Paths of Substance Use Disorder and Brain Injury Recovery.

March 1, 2019: Chicken Soup for the Soul announces the inclusion of "The Power to Heal," by David A. Grant in their newest volume.


May 20, 2018: The Brain Injury Association of Vermont has chosen David A. Grant as the 2018 Annual Conferecne keynote speaker.


April 20, 2017: Brain Injury Canada will feature David A. Grant as a 2017 keynote presenter at the semi-annual Brain Injury Conference in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.


April 4, 2017: The Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL,  announced that David A. Grant will be keynoting at the annual Brain Injury Symposium.


March 21, 2017: The March 21st televised edition of "Don't Dis My Ability" featured David Grant. David's interview covered a wide range of topics and is now archived on YouTube.


March 7, 2017: The Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is pleased to announce that David A. Grant will present the Butch Alterman Memorial Webinar Series, a series of free webinars that will be focused on and primarily for those who are living with brain injury.


October 25, 2016: The 2016 BIAA-Maine Conference: Defining Moments in Brain Injury, will take place on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at the Abromson Community Education Center at the University of Southern Maine, Portland. David A. Grant will be presenting again at this year's annual conferecnce.


July 17, 2016: Eagle Tribune features interview with Sarah and David Grant about their upcoming new book. SALEM, N.H. — “If you’re looking for the people who have challenges up here,” the man said, pointing to his head, “you’re in the right place.” Those were the words that greeted David Grant when, thinking he was in the wrong place..."


April 19, 2016: University of WA featured David A. Grant at this year's conference keynote presenter. The TBI conference is a collaborative effort between the Department of Social and Health Services and the Washington Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Strategic Partnership Advisory Council


March 27, 2016: David A. Grant presented today in a keynoter capacity for the Brain Injury Association of Maryland Annual Conference. This year's conference theme is Navigating the Waters after Traumatic Brain Injury.


January 12, 2016: David A. Grant is named as the newest member for the Brain Energy Support Team Board of Directors. BEST distinguishes itself from other brain injury organizations in that the leadership, services, and programs are built by and for individuals with brain injury and their families.


October 15, 2015: David joins UBN radio show host Dr. Dee for an hour of conversation about traumatic brain injury. Dr. Dee is a Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychologologist.


August 19, 2015: Join TBI Survivor and author David A. Grant at the Tully Center at Stamford Hospital on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 in the auditorium. David will share his experiences and hopes as a true survivor. This is a free event and open to the public. Event time: 4:00PM - 5:30 PM.


May 11, 2015: David A. Grant releases his second title, Slices of Life after Traumatic Brain Injury. David's newest title is now available in both paperback as well as Kindle e-Book format.


January 10, 2015: The Brain Injury Association of Rhode island (BIARI) announced that David A. Grant will be the keynote speaker for the 2015 annual conference to be held in Warwick, Rhode Island.


September 5, 2014: The Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut has selected David A. Grant as the keynote speaker for their annual conference. The 2015 conference will be held on March 6, 2015 at the Hilton Hotel in Hartford, Connecticut The BIACT is a non-profit Connecticut agency which promotes education, advocacy, and services for individuals with traumatic brain injury.


June 26, 2014: Radio host "Fantastic Frank" Johnson invites writer David A. Grant to share his experiences on-air on his weekly radio show.


June 2, 2014: Join author David A. Grant for a first-of-its-kind event with a Virtual Book Signing. Signed copies of Chicken Soup for the Soul, Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries will be available in advance of the June 24th "official" release date.


April 14, 2014: The ever-popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series of inspirational books has included two articles written by David A. Grant to the list of confirmed stories for its forthcoming title, Recovering from Traumatic Brain Injuries, 101 Stories of Hope, Healing and Hard Work.


February 14, 2014: Brainline.org, a PBS Partner website announced today they have added David A. Grant as a contributing blogger. This marks the first time Brainline.org has had an actual brain injury survivor as a member of their blogging staff. David's blog, Getting Back on the Bike, will appear monthly on the Brainline.org website.


November 19, 2013: Brainline.org, a trusted source for traumatic brain injury information, added David A. Grant to its lineup of traumatic brain injury experts. David is also a regular contributing writer for the Brainline.org website.


October 30, 2013: Co-founded by Katie Larimore and Patrick Larimore, former UCLA middle linebacker, My Head Hurts offers TBI Advocacy at its core. My Head Hurts profiles brain injury survivor David A. Grant on its Survivors Stories page.


October 22, 2013: The Neuroscience Institute of Maine Medical Center invites David A. Grant to participate as Keynote Speaker at their 4th Annual Conference on Defining Moments in Brain Injury. David presented to a mixed audience of medical professionals, caregivers as well as brain injury survivors.


October 18, 2013: The Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire features the full length article, Developing a Meaningful Life After a Brain Injury by writer David A. Grant in the Fall, 2013 edition of the Headway Newsletter.


July 15, 2013: Metamorphosis, Surviving Brain Injury author David A. Grant is a contributing writer to this month's Brain Injury Journey Magazine. You can read David's article: Strategies to Rebuild Your Life. Brain Injury Journey Magazine is published six times yearly by Lash and Associates Publishing.


July 3, 2013: Kim Justus, the evening host of Recovery Now on Blog Talk Radio, interviewed David A. Grant. A wide range of topics was discussed from last year's book release of Metamorphosis, Surviving Brain Injury to strategies that take whatever life throws at you and use them for a greater good.


April 8, 2013: Lash & Associates Publishing has selected author David A. Grant to be a contributing columnist to Brain Injury Journey, a new magazine for anyone impacted by traumatic brain injury. David brings his perspective as a brain injury survivor to this exciting new publication.


April 5, 2013: The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, in partnership with Bellwether Community Credit Union, awarded David A. Grant as a Bellwether Community Champion for his ongoing traumatic brain injury advocacy work. David was also asked to throw out the first pitch for the 2013 season opener.


March 31, 2013: "An Unexpected TBI Teaching Moment," an article by David A. Grant, is selected for publication in Headway, the newsletter of the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire.


February 5, 2013: Portsmouth Community Radio host Ronnie Tomanio invited David and his wife Sarah to advocate for traumatic brain injury and to talk about his new book.


January 13, 2013: New Hampshire Union Leader profiles Metamorphosis, Surviving Brain Injury as a Lifestyles Section Featured Article in the New Hampshire Sunday News.


December 1, 2012: Virginia Commonwealth University, TBI Model System cites Metamorphosis, Surviving Brain Injury as a recommended title in its quarterly Newsletter. 


December 15, 2012: The Brain Injury Association of America adds Metamorphosis, Surviving Brain Injury as an approved title.
